Kintoki is Raikou's traveling companion, aspiring to be his apprentice despite his age. However it soon becomes apparent that Kintoki is not anywhere near as young as he appears.
Personality & Character
Though young, Kintoki is more responsible and down to earth compared to Raiko.
Actually Kintoki is a former Makai Knight who wield twin axe to transform. But unlike other armor, his armor is cursed with the consumption of time which makes the user become younger and lose his memory everytime he dons that armor and don't aging normally.
His former name is Tokiwaka.
A year after his final fight as Makai Knight, he appear upon Tamagushi (Raikou's mother) in appearance as errand boy, Kintoki and become guardian of Raikou which in that time is a baby. It seems Kintoki don't remember his former relationship with Tamagushi.
Skills & Abilities
Kintoki carries a pair of metal rods that function as a Horror detector when slammed together, produce sparks that can be deduce the identity of one possessed by a Horror

- Kintoki is based on real-life historical figure whose childhood name was Kintaro, one of the four retainers of Minamoto no Yorimitsu (Raiko) who became a legend in his own right.
