Kiba The Dark Makai Knight is the main antagonist of the tokusatsu show, GARO: Chapter of the Black Wolf. He was originally a Makai Knight , but his hunger for power and revenge had turned him into the dark knight before the beginning of the story. The owner of the armor and the host for Kiba is named Barago whose soul was destroyed by Messiah as a result of making a pact with the malevolent spirit of Kiba.
Personality
The spirit of Kiba the Dark Makai Knight (暗黒魔戒騎士・呀, Ankoku Makai Kishi・Kiba?) influenced everything since the beginning. Though he called himself a Makai Knight, Kiba was no different from a Horror. Kiba's spirit resides inside what was once a grey colored Makai Armor that's filled with the dark knowledge of Makai Power. After sensing Barago's desperation for power, Kiba revealed himself in a Madou Book that contained forbidden techniques. Sensing Barago's need for power he gave Barago knowledge and power of the forbidden Makai methods. Barago wholeheartedly agreed to give up his soul for power. When Kiba heard this, a dark wave of energy appeared, giving Barago his armor and power to do just that. As Barago absorbed Horror after Horror, Kiba eventually deformed into an organically pure black armor with a cape. Though Barago's soul was destroyed by Messiah, Kiba assumed full control over his host upon Messiah's destruction at the hands of Kouga . Now nothing more than a Horror as of that moment, Kiba returns to the real world and battles Garo and Zero, only to be destroyed by Garo in a one-on-one swordfight.
